谷神不死,是謂玄(xuan)(xuan)牝(pin),玄(xuan)(xuan)牝(pin)之門,是謂天地根,綿(mian)綿(mian)若存,用之不勤。
此章是(shi)體(ti)道之(zhi)實,知(zhi)道之(zhi)微(wei),用道之(zhi)妙,登道之(zhi)岸。
從虛而(er)入(ru),根上(shang)章(zhang)而(er)來,虛而(er)不(bu)屈,動而(er)愈出,是者谷神之源。譬如山,四面皆是聳嶺,中是深谷,落葉聞聲(sheng)。
人(ren)(ren)身(shen)(shen)上下皆實,惟中常虛(xu),將谷譬(pi)言之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。山(shan)谷聞聲,乃(nai)山(shan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)虛(xu)神(shen)耳,山(shan)有虛(xu)神(shen),故千(qian)萬年(nian)無更變之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)端,目(mu)今(jin)如(ru)此,千(qian)載之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)后(hou)亦如(ru)此。人(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)修身(shen)(shen),當推此理,一(yi)(yi)個幻身(shen)(shen),只(zhi)有中之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)內一(yi)(yi)點靈氣,四肢百骸,皆是無用,若(ruo)有嗜欲,虛(xu)靈就被他埋沒,終日用心,勞碌于外,神(shen)從耳目(mu)口鼻舌身(shen)(shen)意散盡(jin),安得(de)不(bu)死?若(ruo)求(qiu)不(bu)死,須問靈神(shen),靈神(shen)所居,上不(bu)在(zai)天,下不(bu)在(zai)地,中不(bu)在(zai)人(ren)(ren),在(zai)虛(xu)靈不(bu)昧,一(yi)(yi)點真性之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中。
近學(xue)者不(bu)知(zhi)說(shuo)出(chu)多少落地,上(shang)降下升,用性(xing)光會合,黃嫗牽引,為坎離交參(can),一點金液,發于(yu)玄牝,玄牝生芽,方得性(xing)命歸宗(zong),樂于(yu)冥忘之(zhi)間,從吾性(xing)中見出(chu),是不(bu)昧之(zhi)性(xing),非氣質之(zhi)性(xing),要點下落,須遇(yu)高人,高人指點,如夢初覺,如醉方醒,得來不(bu)費半(ban)文錢。若求(qiu)庫蔽(?存疑)無處覓,非他言“難易相(xiang)生,不(bu)可求(qiu)輕(qing)得。”
玄牝(pin)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)門(men),在(zai)(zai)(zai)空(kong)谷(gu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong)(zhong),視之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)見(jian),聽之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)聞,瞻(zhan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)在(zai)(zai)(zai)前,忽焉在(zai)(zai)(zai)后(hou),在(zai)(zai)(zai)無(wu)(wu)聲無(wu)(wu)臭(chou)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間(jian)(jian),鉛汞合一(yi),方知下(xia)著。此(ci)理(li)深淵,似(si)日月運行(xing),東出滄海,西沒窮(qiong)谷(gu),晝夜(ye)反復,無(wu)(wu)息而(er)(er)(er)(er)住。此(ci)理(li)即(ji)是(shi)身中(zhong)(zhong)下(xia)落,水(shui)中(zhong)(zhong)取(qu)(qu)金,火中(zhong)(zhong)取(qu)(qu)木(mu),金木(mu)相并,譬如月感日精而(er)(er)(er)(er)光(guang)(guang)生(sheng)(sheng),日返(fan)月華而(er)(er)(er)(er)晦出,俱是(shi)造(zao)化之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氣所感,身中(zhong)(zhong)豈無(wu)(wu)真(zhen)(zhen)一(yi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氣而(er)(er)(er)(er)生(sheng)(sheng)?上(shang)(shang)不(bu)上(shang)(shang),下(xia)不(bu)下(xia),中(zhong)(zhong)不(bu)中(zhong)(zhong),在(zai)(zai)(zai)杳杳之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong)(zhong),而(er)(er)(er)(er)生(sheng)(sheng)真(zhen)(zhen)一(yi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氣,引上(shang)(shang)接下(xia),而(er)(er)(er)(er)歸(gui)黃庭。此(ci)庭之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)名(ming)亦是(shi)多了(le),才叫(jiao)作“天地(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)根”,要(yao)歸(gui)甲子(zi)周流,去而(er)(er)(er)(er)復返(fan),返(fan)而(er)(er)(er)(er)復去,身中(zhong)(zhong)要(yao)金木(mu)降升,離(li)而(er)(er)(er)(er)合,合而(er)(er)(er)(er)離(li),離(li)合之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)妙,在(zai)(zai)(zai)于(yu)真(zhen)(zhen)一(yi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong)(zhong);真(zhen)(zhen)一(yi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)源,在(zai)(zai)(zai)于(yu)一(yi)點性(xing)(xing)光(guang)(guang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)內(nei);性(xing)(xing)光(guang)(guang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)居,在(zai)(zai)(zai)于(yu)虛靈之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong)(zhong);虛靈之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)神(shen),在(zai)(zai)(zai)于(yu)空(kong)谷(gu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)聞;空(kong)谷(gu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)處,在(zai)(zai)(zai)于(yu)幻(huan)身之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong)(zhong);幻(huan)身常無(wu)(wu),神(shen)乃(nai)得一(yi);神(shen)一(yi),而(er)(er)(er)(er)性(xing)(xing)命方來朝(chao)宗;性(xing)(xing)命合,而(er)(er)(er)(er)魂魄潛(qian)跡,收來入神(shen),方能雪光(guang)(guang);雪光(guang)(guang)一(yi)出,便是(shi)慧(hui)照(zhao);慧(hui)照(zhao)無(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian),才是(shi)綿(mian)(mian)(mian)綿(mian)(mian)(mian)若存,使之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)窮(qiong),用之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)竭,才如山谷(gu),常靜而(er)(er)(er)(er)存神(shen),是(shi)謂“綿(mian)(mian)(mian)綿(mian)(mian)(mian)”。若用心存,就(jiu)不(bu)是(shi)了(le),要(yao)似(si)若間(jian)(jian)耳。“勤”字,莫(mo)作勤苦上(shang)(shang)看,此(ci)“勤”是(shi)“綿(mian)(mian)(mian)綿(mian)(mian)(mian)不(bu)絕”之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)意,“用之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)勤”,是(shi)無(wu)(wu)窮(qiong)無(wu)(wu)盡之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)妙,而(er)(er)(er)(er)無(wu)(wu)刻暇,是(shi)體(ti)我(wo)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)道,樂(le)我(wo)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)妙,豈不(bu)綿(mian)(mian)(mian)綿(mian)(mian)(mian)而(er)(er)(er)(er)用之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)窮(qiong)?
人(ren)生在天(tian)地(di)(di)間,返(fan)天(tian)地(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)化工而成真(zhen),抱真(zhen)以合天(tian)地(di)(di)。人(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)玄(xuan)牝(pin),是(shi)天(tian)地(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)根(gen),天(tian)地(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)根(gen),亦是(shi)人(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)玄(xuan)牝(pin),總(zong)不(bu)過要(yao)人(ren)明天(tian)地(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)理以修道,返(fan)道以合天(tian)地(di)(di),方是(shi)“谷神不(bu)死”章(zhang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)旨。
