上(shang)陽(yang)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)清(qing)齋(zhai)夜(ye)坐(zuo)(zuo),弟(di)(di)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)侍曰(yue)(yue):弟(di)(di)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)見師閑居入室,抱神毓精,似廣步(bu)妙庭而(er)(er)身未嘗移,似怡情真(zhen)館而(er)(er)形未嘗離。其(qi)(qi)逍遙而(er)(er)真(zhen)游(you)乎(hu)(hu)?其(qi)(qi)恍惚而(er)(er)無(wu)為乎(hu)(hu)?弟(di)(di)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)敢(gan)問。上(shang)陽(yang)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)靜坐(zuo)(zuo)未應。弟(di)(di)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)曰(yue)(yue):司(si)聽(ting)以默(mo),其(qi)(qi)駕景窈冥之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)鄉乎(hu)(hu)?司(si)視(shi)以靜,其(qi)(qi)飛(fei)神虛無(wu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)境乎(hu)(hu)?弟(di)(di)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)敢(gan)問。乃三(san)問而(er)(er)三(san)不(bu)發。弟(di)(di)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)曰(yue)(yue):弟(di)(di)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)不(bu)度(du)無(wu)材,獲事我師,實以生(sheng)死一(yi)事最(zui)大(da)(da),流光奔電,過隙飛(fei)星,冉冉年(nian)華,其(qi)(qi)不(bu)可止乎(hu)(hu)?而(er)(er)蕓蕓姤復,其(qi)(qi)又可已乎(hu)(hu)?圣人已還(huan),寥寥而(er)(er)何(he)法乎(hu)(hu)?富貴貧賤,紛(fen)紛(fen)亦何(he)雜乎(hu)(hu)?天地(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)大(da)(da),可得原乎(hu)(hu)?至(zhi)道(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)妙,可得聞乎(hu)(hu)?何(he)三(san)問而(er)(er)三(san)不(bu)發,其(qi)(qi)秘耶(ye)?其(qi)(qi)靳耶(ye)?上(shang)陽(yang)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)欣然視(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)曰(yue)(yue):善哉,而(er)(er)生(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)問也(ye),庶幾而(er)(er)身之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)問也(ye)。來(lai),汝齋(zhai),吾將條而(er)(er)語(yu)汝也(ye)。弟(di)(di)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)乃各(ge)攝衣起(qi)敬(jing)曰(yue)(yue):齋(zhai)矣(yi),敢(gan)問其(qi)(qi)生(sheng)。

上陽(yang)子曰:無者(zhe),生(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)太(tai)一(yi)也(ye)。有(you)者(zhe),生(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)太(tai)極(ji)也(ye)。太(tai)一(yi)者(zhe),兆無之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)先,含靈(ling)蘊精。太(tai)極(ji)者(zhe),兆有(you)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)后(hou),凝胚剖孕。其(qi)(qi)(qi)道之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)物乎(hu)(hu)(hu),其(qi)(qi)(qi)生(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)問乎(hu)(hu)(hu),其(qi)(qi)(qi)地水(shui)乎(hu)(hu)(hu),其(qi)(qi)(qi)火風乎(hu)(hu)(hu),其(qi)(qi)(qi)嬰(ying)兒乎(hu)(hu)(hu),其(qi)(qi)(qi)赤子乎(hu)(hu)(hu)。子獨不聞之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)地水(shui)火風之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)四大者(zhe)乎(hu)(hu)(hu)?發齒骨(gu)甲(jia)假之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)于(yu)地,涕精血(xue)液假之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)于(yu)水(shui),溫(wen)暖燥熱也(ye)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)于(yu)物也(ye),與圣人天(tian)地合其(qi)(qi)(qi)心(xin),而(er)同其(qi)(qi)(qi)有(you)也(ye)。圣人也(ye),德我(wo)(wo)(wo)也(ye),而(er)不數數我(wo)(wo)(wo)也(ye)。天(tian)地也(ye),有(you)我(wo)(wo)(wo)也(ye),而(er)不常常我(wo)(wo)(wo)也(ye)。父母(mu)也(ye),生(sheng)(sheng)我(wo)(wo)(wo)也(ye),而(er)忽(hu)(hu)忽(hu)(hu)遺我(wo)(wo)(wo)也(ye)。是(shi)生(sheng)(sheng)非(fei)我(wo)(wo)(wo)長(chang)也(ye),有(you)非(fei)我(wo)(wo)(wo)常也(ye),德非(fei)我(wo)(wo)(wo)良也(ye),而(er)師教也(ye)。德且(qie)至矣,其(qi)(qi)(qi)有(you)且(qie)多矣,非(fei)師恩也(ye),奚陶鑄(zhu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)也(ye)歟。

上陽子金丹大要之圣人之德

弟子(zi)請進于(yu)上陽子(zi)曰:弟子(zi)因緣遭逢,獲親(qin)大(da)道,敢聞圣人之(zhi)德,以啟發于(yu)蒙迷也(ye)。

上陽子曰:圣人也,生而知之者也,亦學而知之也,亦困而學之也。圣人也,學而不厭,乃無所不通也。圣人也,知天之所為也,知人之所為也。圣人也,非多能也,乃多學而識之也。圣人也,非自然也,唯善格其物也。圣人也,非生而知乎道,唯道乃求而得之也。圣人也,善終其天年,而不中道夭也。圣人也,息以踵而不以喉也,不知說生而惡死也。圣人也,德盛仁熟之稱也。圣人也,躬大道之本,明大道之正,成大道之事也。圣人也,其狀義而不明。故莊生曰:凄然似秋,燈然似春,喜怒通四時,與物有宜,而莫知其極也。圣人也,成天下之亹亹者也。條萬物,明歷數,造書契,垂衣裳,樹五谷,通舟車者,圣人也。無為而治者,圣人也。不言而教,不令而行者,圣人也。圣人之在天下也,河出圖,洛出書,圣人畫易以形道,是易也。成天下之大,盡天下之務,定天下之業也。是以圣人貴精,而不從事于務,死生無變于己,乘云氣,騎日月,游乎塵垢之外也。圣人神矣,常善救人而無棄之,衣被萬物而不為主,不為天下先,而德交歸焉。難得之貨,圣人則不貴焉。圣人不積也而愈多,先天地生而不為久,長于上古而不為老。故老子曰:圣(sheng)人(ren)處上(shang)而(er)(er)(er)人(ren)不(bu)重,處前而(er)(er)(er)人(ren)不(bu)害,天(tian)下(xia)樂推而(er)(er)(er)不(bu)厭。故夫(fu)圣(sheng)人(ren)生(sheng)而(er)(er)(er)不(bu)有(you),為而(er)(er)(er)不(bu)力(li),立天(tian)地而(er)(er)(er)不(bu)偏其恩,久天(tian)地而(er)(er)(er)不(bu)見(jian)其勞,仁萬物(wu)而(er)(er)(er)不(bu)私,德萬物(wu)而(er)(er)(er)不(bu)居。圣(sheng)人(ren)非(fei)(fei)唯不(bu)居也(ye),而(er)(er)(er)生(sheng)非(fei)(fei)其愛也(ye),而(er)(er)(er)身非(fei)(fei)其有(you)也(ye),而(er)(er)(er)名非(fei)(fei)其存(cun)也(ye),唯其不(bu)存(cun),是(shi)以長存(cun)。

上陽子金丹大要之天地之大

弟子復進曰:敢問(wen)天地?

上陽子曰(yue):天(tian)(tian)地(di)之(zhi)大,莫可得而論(lun)也(ye)。故莊周(zhou)曰(yue):六(liu)合之(zhi)外,圣(sheng)人存(cun)而不論(lun)也(ye);六(liu)合之(zhi)內(nei),圣(sheng)人論(lun)而不議也(ye)。且我而為(wei)天(tian)(tian)地(di)中(zhong)之(zhi)一(yi)物(wu),猶(you)大海(hai)之(zhi)一(yi)滴也(ye),惡得而論(lun)天(tian)(tian)地(di)。弟子曰(yue):傳云有真(zhen)人而后有真(zhen)知,請因所(suo)聞(wen)而聞(wen)所(suo)不聞(wen)之(zhi)聞(wen)也(ye)。

上(shang)陽(yang)子(zi)曰(yue):無(wu)已,則(ze)我借(jie)言之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),汝(ru)(ru)亦妄聽之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。夫(fu)(fu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)一(yi)大(da)身也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)未(wei)始(shi)(shi)有(you)始(shi)(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)始(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。一(yi)氣蟠積(ji),溟(ming)溟(ming)涬涬,窈冥(ming)莫(mo)測,氤氳(yun)活動(dong),含靈至妙(miao),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)大(da)一(yi),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)未(wei)始(shi)(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)始(shi)(shi)始(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)道(dao)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),故曰(yue)無(wu)始(shi)(shi)。夫(fu)(fu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)有(you)始(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),一(yi)氣動(dong)蕩(dang),虛(xu)無(wu)開合,雌雄感召,黑白交(jiao)凝,有(you)無(wu)相(xiang)射,混(hun)混(hun)沌沌,沖虛(xu)至圣,包(bao)元含靈,神(shen)明變化,恍(huang)惚立(li)極(ji),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)太易,是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)有(you)始(shi)(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)始(shi)(shi)始(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)謂(wei)道(dao)生一(yi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue)元始(shi)(shi)。夫(fu)(fu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)太極(ji)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),一(yi)氣斯析,真(zhen)宰自(zi)判(pan),交(jiao)映羅列,萬靈肅護,陰陽(yang)剖分,是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)太極(ji),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)一(yi)生二(er)(er)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue)虛(xu)皇。陰陽(yang)既判(pan),天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)位焉(yan)(yan)(yan),人(ren)乃(nai)育焉(yan)(yan)(yan),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)二(er)(er)生三(san)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue)混(hun)元。陰之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)清者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)升(sheng)上(shang),而(er)煥(huan)麗也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),則(ze)日月(yue)星(xing)辰布焉(yan)(yan)(yan),故天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)左運(yun)三(san)光右旋。陽(yang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)清者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)騰上(shang),而(er)會于陽(yang)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),故風云動(dong)而(er)雷雨作焉(yan)(yan)(yan)。陽(yang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)濁者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)重滯(zhi),而(er)就地(di)(di)(di)(di)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),則(ze)海岳奠(dian)峙,而(er)五(wu)谷(gu)草木昌焉(yan)(yan)(yan),故巖岫出云,山澤通(tong)氣。陰陽(yang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氣,閉(bi)而(er)不(bu)(bu)通(tong)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),則(ze)雪霜結(jie)而(er)凍(dong)冰(bing)焉(yan)(yan)(yan)。陰之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)濁者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),積(ji)冱而(er)下凝也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),穴巖幽藏而(er)深(shen)邃,故五(wu)金八(ba)石以(yi)錯(cuo)雜焉(yan)(yan)(yan)。天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中,陰陽(yang)正(zheng)氣之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)所交(jiao)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。圣人(ren)焉(yan)(yan)(yan),仙(xian)fo焉(yan)(yan)(yan),庶民焉(yan)(yan)(yan),賢愚壽夭,寔所肴焉(yan)(yan)(yan);胎卵(luan)濕化,無(wu)有(you)息(xi)焉(yan)(yan)(yan)。是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)六合也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)三(san)生萬物(wu)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)萬神(shen)聽命也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。子(zi)來前,予(yu)語汝(ru)(ru)。有(you)道(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)士,就中取則(ze)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。蓋九天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)上(shang),鉛汞已干(gan),九地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)下,重陰積(ji)固,唯中也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)有(you)道(dao)焉(yan)(yan)(yan),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)一(yi)小天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。子(zi)不(bu)(bu)聞(wen)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)外(wai)(wai)有(you)大(da)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)焉(yan)(yan)(yan)。子(zi)又不(bu)(bu)聞(wen)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),fo祖(zu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)法言也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。其(qi)言曰(yue):何物(wu)高于天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)?生天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi);何物(wu)厚于地(di)(di)(di)(di)?育地(di)(di)(di)(di)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi);何物(wu)寬于虛(xu)空(kong)?包(bao)虛(xu)空(kong)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)。夫(fu)(fu)以(yi)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)知天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)外(wai)(wai),復有(you)大(da)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。子(zi)抑(yi)知之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)乎(hu)?今之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di),屬大(da)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)一(yi)物(wu)耳(er),即(ji)如人(ren)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)今天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)中之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)一(yi)物(wu)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),即(ji)如道(dao)乃(nai)人(ren)身中之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)一(yi)物(wu)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)故人(ren)身又一(yi)小天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。子(zi)抑(yi)知之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)乎(hu)?其(qi)大(da)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),且(qie)孰為(wei)(wei)(wei)其(qi)大(da)?汝(ru)(ru)來,吾今直以(yi)語于汝(ru)(ru)。是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)道(dao)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),能以(yi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)大(da)而(er)且(qie)久(jiu)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。故有(you)生而(er)無(wu)終(zhong)窮,有(you)結(jie)凝而(er)不(bu)(bu)散,是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)以(yi)包(bao)乎(hu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)地(di)(di)(di)(di)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)外(wai)(wai),而(er)且(qie)不(bu)(bu)自(zi)知其(qi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)大(da)。夫(fu)(fu)惟不(bu)(bu)自(zi)大(da),故能就其(qi)大(da)。
