三十輻共一轂,當其無(wu)(wu),有(you)車之(zhi)(zhi)用(yong)。埏埴(zhi)以(yi)為(wei)器,當其無(wu)(wu),有(you)器之(zhi)(zhi)用(yong)。鑿(zao)戶牖以(yi)為(wei)室,當其無(wu)(wu),有(you)室之(zhi)(zhi)用(yong)。故有(you)之(zhi)(zhi)以(yi)為(wei)利(li),無(wu)(wu)之(zhi)(zhi)以(yi)為(wei)用(yong)。
夫道(dao)(dao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)于(yu)鴻蒙之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)始,混于(yu)虛(xu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中,視不(bu)見,聽不(bu)聞,修(xiu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)又從(cong)何(he)(he)下手?圣(sheng)人(ren)知道(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)體無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)形(xing),而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)道(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)用(yong)(yong)有(you)(you)(you)(you)象(xiang),于(yu)是(shi)(shi)以(yi)(yi)(yi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)形(xing)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),以(yi)(yi)(yi)實形(xing)虛(xu),盜其(qi)(qi)(qi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)于(yu)混沌之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)鄉,斂其(qi)(qi)(qi)神(shen)(shen)于(yu)杳(yao)冥之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)地,以(yi)(yi)(yi)成(cheng)(cheng)真一(yi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)大(da)道(dao)(dao),永(yong)為不(bu)死之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)神(shen)(shen)仙焉(yan)。所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)謂(wei)(wei)實而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)有(you)(you)(you)(you)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)何(he)(he)?真陰(yin)真陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang),同(tong)類有(you)(you)(you)(you)情之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)物是(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)。所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)謂(wei)(wei)虛(xu)而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)何(he)(he)?先天(tian)(tian)(tian)大(da)道(dao)(dao)根(gen)(gen)源(yuan)、龍虎二八(ba)初弦之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)是(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)。有(you)(you)(you)(you)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)質(zhi),大(da)道(dao)(dao)彰矣(yi)。故(gu)曰(yue)陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)合(he)而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)先天(tian)(tian)(tian)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)見,陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)分而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)后(hou)(hou)天(tian)(tian)(tian)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)器(qi)成(cheng)(cheng)。《易(yi)》曰(yue):”形(xing)上(shang)謂(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)(dao),形(xing)下謂(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)”,是(shi)(shi)非器(qi)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)以(yi)(yi)(yi)見道(dao)(dao),亦非道(dao)(dao)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)以(yi)(yi)(yi)載器(qi)也(ye)(ye)。太上(shang)借喻于(yu)車曰(yue):車有(you)(you)(you)(you)輻(fu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)轂(gu),輻(fu)共三十以(yi)(yi)(yi)象(xiang)日(ri)月(yue)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)運(yun)行,轂(gu)居(ju)正中,為眾軸所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)貫;轂(gu)空(kong)(kong)其(qi)(qi)(qi)內(nei),輻(fu)湊其(qi)(qi)(qi)外,所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)以(yi)(yi)(yi)運(yun)轉(zhuan)(zhuan)而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)難。若非其(qi)(qi)(qi)中有(you)(you)(you)(you)空(kong)(kong)隙處,人(ren)何(he)(he)以(yi)(yi)(yi)載?物何(he)(he)以(yi)(yi)(yi)貯乎?故(gu)曰(yue):當(dang)(dang)其(qi)(qi)(qi)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),即(ji)車之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)用(yong)(yong)。又如陶(tao)器(qi)然,以(yi)(yi)(yi)水和土,揉土為器(qi),一(yi)經冶煉,外實中空(kong)(kong)——究(jiu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)凡人(ren)利(li)(li)(li)用(yong)(yong),不(bu)在埏埴(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)實,而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)在空(kong)(kong)洞之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)虛(xu)。如陶(tao)侃運(yun)甓,非其(qi)(qi)(qi)間虛(xu)而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)物,安能(neng)運(yun)轉(zhuan)(zhuan)自如?故(gu)曰(yue):”當(dang)(dang)其(qi)(qi)(qi)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),即(ji)器(qi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)用(yong)(yong)”。再擬諸(zhu)筑室(shi),必鑿戶牖其(qi)(qi)(qi)中,而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)后(hou)(hou)光明大(da)放。及(ji)入此室(shi)處,戶牖亦覺(jue)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)庸,務(wu)于(yu)空(kong)(kong)間之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間,乃堪(kan)容(rong)膝,雖居(ju)有(you)(you)(you)(you)形(xing)以(yi)(yi)(yi)為室(shi),必從(cong)實際以(yi)(yi)(yi)為居(ju)。故(gu)曰(yue):”當(dang)(dang)其(qi)(qi)(qi)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),即(ji)室(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)用(yong)(yong)”。從(cong)此三者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)觀之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)非有(you)(you)(you)(you)象(xiang)以(yi)(yi)(yi)為車、為器(qi)、為室(shi);無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)象(xiang)以(yi)(yi)(yi)為載、為藏、為居(ju)。而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)涉于(yu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)象(xiang)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),即(ji)屬推行之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)利(li)(li)(li)矣(yi)。凡居(ju)于(yu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)象(xiang)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),即(ji)裕推行之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)用(yong)(yong)矣(yi)。故(gu)曰(yue)有(you)(you)(you)(you)以(yi)(yi)(yi)為利(li)(li)(li),無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)以(yi)(yi)(yi)為用(yong)(yong),有(you)(you)(you)(you)有(you)(you)(you)(you)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),亦互為其(qi)(qi)(qi)根(gen)(gen)焉(yan)耳。要(yao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)(dao)本(ben)虛(xu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),非陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)以(yi)(yi)(yi)見。氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)屬陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang),非道(dao)(dao)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)以(yi)(yi)(yi)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),后(hou)(hou)天(tian)(tian)(tian)地而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),有(you)(you)(you)(you)形(xing)狀方所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo),不(bu)可為長生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)丹(dan)。惟求道(dao)(dao)于(yu)陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang),由陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)返太極,則先后(hou)(hou)混合(he),大(da)道(dao)(dao)得矣(yi)。后(hou)(hou)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)修(xiu)丹(dan)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),徒(tu)服有(you)(you)(you)(you)形(xing)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi),不(bu)知煉無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)形(xing)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)丹(dan),欲其(qi)(qi)(qi)成(cheng)(cheng)仙也(ye)(ye),不(bu)亦南轅(yuan)而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)北轍耶(ye)! 道(dao)(dao)本(ben)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)名(ming)(ming),強名(ming)(ming)曰(yue)道(dao)(dao)。道(dao)(dao)本(ben)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)修(xiu),強名(ming)(ming)曰(yue)修(xiu)。夫以(yi)(yi)(yi)道(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)為物,至(zhi)(zhi)虛(xu)至(zhi)(zhi)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),方能(neng)至(zhi)(zhi)神(shen)(shen)至(zhi)(zhi)圣(sheng)。試觀天(tian)(tian)(tian)地一(yi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)清空(kong)(kong),了無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)一(yi)物,及(ji)伏之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)久而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)機一(yi)動,陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)焉(yan)。于(yu)是(shi)(shi)形(xing)形(xing)色色,斐然有(you)(you)(you)(you)文,燦然成(cheng)(cheng)章(zhang),充滿于(yu)四塞之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中。誰為造之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)?誰與生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)?何(he)(he)莫非道(dao)(dao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)一(yi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi),一(yi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)化(hua)為陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang),而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)萬(wan)物生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)矣(yi)。故(gu)曰(yue):”道(dao)(dao)自虛(xu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)一(yi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi),便從(cong)一(yi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)產陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)。陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)自是(shi)(shi)成(cheng)(cheng)三姓,三姓重生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)萬(wan)化(hua)昌。”修(xiu)行人(ren)欲求至(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)真,以(yi)(yi)(yi)成(cheng)(cheng)仙圣(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)體,必先以(yi)(yi)(yi)陰(yin)陽(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)為利(li)(li)(li)器(qi),后(hou)(hou)以(yi)(yi)(yi)虛(xu)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)為本(ben)根(gen)(gen),而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)大(da)道(dao)(dao)得矣(yi)。章(zhang)內(nei)三”無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)”字,指其(qi)(qi)(qi)空(kong)(kong)處曰(yue)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),大(da)約言修(xiu)煉人(ren)自無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)有(you)(you)(you)(you),自有(you)(you)(you)(you)還無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu),以(yi)(yi)(yi)至(zhi)(zhi)清空(kong)(kong)一(yi)氣(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi),而(er)(er)(er)(er)(er)大(da)道(dao)(dao)方成(cheng)(cheng),其(qi)(qi)(qi)意殆取于(yu)此耳。
