佛說出家功德經

南無(wu)本師釋迦牟尼(ni)佛(三稱)

開經偈

無上甚深微妙法

百千萬劫難遭遇

我今見聞得受持

愿解如來真實義


如(ru)是我聞(wen):一時(shi),佛(fo)在(zai)毗舍離國。食時(shi)到(dao),入城(cheng)(cheng)乞食。時(shi)毗舍離城(cheng)(cheng)中,有一梨車(che)子,名鞞羅羨(xian)那(nei)。譬如(ru)天與諸(zhu)天女共相(xiang)娛樂,時(shi)此(ci)王子與諸(zhu)婇女在(zai)閣上共相(xiang)娛樂,耽于色欲(yu)(yu)亦復如(ru)是。爾時(shi)世尊以一切智(zhi)聞(wen)彼樂音,告阿難(nan)言:‘我知(zhi)此(ci)人(ren),貪五欲(yu)(yu)樂者,不久命終。卻后七(qi)日,當舍如(ru)是眷屬快樂,決(jue)定當死。阿難(nan)!此(ci)人(ren)若當不舍欲(yu)(yu)樂,不出家者,命終或能墮于地(di)獄。’爾時(shi)阿難(nan)頂奉佛(fo)教(jiao),欲(yu)(yu)利益此(ci)王子故,次至其舍。

爾時(shi)王子(zi)聞(wen)阿(a)難(nan)在外,即出奉見。以(yi)敬念故(gu),請阿(a)難(nan)入坐。坐已未久,爾時(shi)王子(zi)起恭敬心,白阿(a)難(nan)言(yan):‘善哉!好親(qin)友(you)來,今(jin)正(zheng)是時(shi)。我(wo)今(jin)見汝,踴躍(yue)歡喜(xi),汝字歡喜(xi),汝今(jin)當教告我(wo)佛所(suo)教法,令我(wo)歡喜(xi)。’爾時(shi)王子(zi)如是三請。阿(a)難(nan)為欲作大利益,默然無(wu)言(yan)。

王子又言:‘鞞陀呵(he)牟尼大仙,利益(yi)一切眾生。有(you)何嫌恨,默然(ran)無所說(shuo)?不見少告(gao)!’。時第三師,持佛法藏、利世間者(zhe),慘然(ran)告(gao)言:‘汝(ru)今善聽!卻后七日,汝(ru)當命(ming)終(zhong)。汝(ru)若于(yu)此五欲樂(le)中,不能覺悟,不出家者(zhe),命(ming)終(zhong)或(huo)當墮(duo)地獄中。佛一切智(zhi)人,正(zheng)語正(zheng)說(shuo),記汝(ru)如是。譬火燒物,終(zhong)不虛(xu)發。汝(ru)諦思惟!’

時彼王子聞此語已,甚(shen)大憂怖,愁憒不樂(le),受(shou)阿難(nan)(nan)教。‘我(wo)當出(chu)家(jia)(jia)(jia),定且(qie)聽(ting)更六(liu)日受(shou)樂(le)。第(di)七日中,我(wo)辭家(jia)(jia)(jia)眷(juan)屬(shu),定必出(chu)家(jia)(jia)(jia)。’阿難(nan)(nan)可之。第(di)七日畏生(sheng)死故(gu),求佛出(chu)家(jia)(jia)(jia),佛即聽(ting)之。一日一夜,修持(chi)凈戒,即便(bian)命終。

燒香(xiang)(xiang)畢已(yi),尊(zun)者(zhe)阿(a)難與其眷屬(shu),往(wang)白佛(fo)(fo)言:‘世(shi)尊(zun)!此(ci)鞞(bing)羅(luo)羨(xian)那比丘,今(jin)已(yi)命(ming)(ming)終(zhong)(zhong),神生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)何(he)處(chu)?’時佛(fo)(fo)、世(shi)尊(zun)、天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)人之師、一切智(zhi)人以(yi)大梵音(yin)(yin),勝出(chu)雷鼓、迦陵頻伽眾(zhong)(zhong)妙音(yin)(yin)聲,以(yi)八種音(yin)(yin)告阿(a)難言:‘此(ci)鞞(bing)羅(luo)羨(xian)那比丘,畏(wei)于(yu)(yu)(yu)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死地(di)獄苦故(gu),舍欲(yu)出(chu)家。一日(ri)一夜(ye),持凈戒故(gu),舍此(ci)世(shi)已(yi),生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)四天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian),為北方(fang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)毗(pi)沙門子(zi),恣(zi)(zi)心(xin)受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)于(yu)(yu)(yu)五欲(yu)快(kuai)樂,貪(tan)受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)五欲(yu),與諸(zhu)婇(cai)女(nv)共相(xiang)(xiang)娛樂,壽(shou)五百歲(sui)。五百歲(sui)已(yi),命(ming)(ming)終(zhong)(zhong)轉生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)三十三天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian),為帝釋子(zi),具受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)五欲(yu),極天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)之樂,天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)妙婇(cai)女(nv),恣(zi)(zi)意千(qian)歲(sui)。壽(shou)盡生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)焰天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian),為焰天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)子(zi),自(zi)恣(zi)(zi)受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)色、聲、香(xiang)(xiang)、味、觸,快(kuai)心(xin)欲(yu)樂。受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)二千(qian)歲(sui)已(yi),命(ming)(ming)終(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)于(yu)(yu)(yu)兜率(lv)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)子(zi),恣(zi)(zi)心(xin)受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)于(yu)(yu)(yu)五欲(yu)快(kuai)樂,目視相(xiang)(xiang)欲(yu),心(xin)自(zi)厭(yan)足(zu)(zu),常(chang)(chang)談(tan)法語,解(jie)(jie)脫(tuo)智(zhi)慧,壽(shou)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)中(zhong)壽(shou)。滿(man)四千(qian)歲(sui)已(yi),命(ming)(ming)終(zhong)(zhong)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)自(zi)在天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)上,為天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)子(zi),受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)種種五欲(yu)妙樂,于(yu)(yu)(yu)婇(cai)女(nv)中(zhong)化應恣(zi)(zi)意八千(qian)歲(sui)。八千(qian)歲(sui)已(yi),命(ming)(ming)終(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)他化自(zi)在天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian),為天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)王(wang)子(zi)。此(ci)第六(liu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian),其中(zhong)欲(yu)樂,下(xia)五天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)中(zhong)所不能及。生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)此(ci)中(zhong)已(yi),受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)最(zui)妙樂,眾(zhong)(zhong)樂之藏。受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)此(ci)樂時,心(xin)極迷醉(zui),具足(zu)(zu)受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)于(yu)(yu)(yu)諸(zhu)妙勝樂,萬六(liu)千(qian)歲(sui)。如(ru)是受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)樂,于(yu)(yu)(yu)六(liu)欲(yu)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian),往(wang)來(lai)七反。此(ci)鞞(bing)羅(luo)羨(xian)那,以(yi)一日(ri)一夜(ye)出(chu)家故(gu),滿(man)二十劫,不墮地(di)獄、饑(ji)鬼、畜生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),常(chang)(chang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)人,受(shou)(shou)(shou)(shou)福自(zi)然。最(zui)后人中(zhong),生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)富樂家,財(cai)富珍寶具足(zu)(zu)。壯(zhuang)年已(yi)過(guo),諸(zhu)根熟(shu)時,畏(wei)惡生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)、老、病、死患故(gu),厭(yan)世(shi)出(chu)家;剃除須發(fa)故(gu),身披法服(fu),勤修精進,持四威儀,常(chang)(chang)行正念,觀于(yu)(yu)(yu)五陰(yin)苦、空(kong)、無我,解(jie)(jie)法因緣,成(cheng)辟支佛(fo)(fo),名毗(pi)流(liu)帝。于(yu)(yu)(yu)是時,放大光(guang)明,多有(you)人、天(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian)(tian),生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)于(yu)(yu)(yu)善(shan)根,令諸(zhu)群生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)種于(yu)(yu)(yu)三乘(cheng)解(jie)(jie)脫(tuo)因緣。’

爾時阿難叉手,白(bai)佛言:‘世尊(zun)!若(ruo)當有(you)人放人出家(jia)(jia),若(ruo)有(you)出家(jia)(jia)者,任其(qi)所須,得幾(ji)所福(fu)?若(ruo)復有(you)人,毀(hui)破他(ta)人出家(jia)(jia)因緣,受(shou)何罪報?惟愿世尊(zun)具盡告(gao)示(shi)!’

佛告阿(a)難:‘汝若(ruo)具(ju)滿于百歲(sui)(sui)中(zhong)(zhong),問我此事(shi),我以無盡(jin)智慧(hui),除飲(yin)食時,滿百歲(sui)(sui)中(zhong)(zhong),廣為(wei)汝說此人(ren)功德(de),猶不(bu)能(neng)盡(jin)。是人(ren)恒生天(tian)上(shang)、人(ren)中(zhong)(zhong),常(chang)為(wei)國(guo)王(wang),受(shou)天(tian)、人(ren)樂(le)。若(ruo)有(you)于此沙門法中(zhong)(zhong)使人(ren)出家,若(ruo)復(fu)營佐出家因緣(yuan),于生死中(zhong)(zhong)常(chang)受(shou)快樂(le)。我滿百歲(sui)(sui),說其福德(de),不(bu)可窮盡(jin)。是故(gu),阿(a)難!汝滿百歲(sui)(sui),盡(jin)壽問我,我至涅槃,說此功德(de),亦(yi)不(bu)能(neng)盡(jin)。’

佛告阿難:‘若(ruo)(ruo)復有(you)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)破(po)壞(huai)他人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)出家(jia)因(yin)緣(yuan),即為(wei)劫奪無(wu)盡(jin)善(shan)財福藏,壞(huai)三十七助菩提法涅槃之因(yin)。設(she)有(you)欲(yu)壞(huai)出家(jia)因(yin)緣(yuan)者,應善(shan)觀(guan)察如是(shi)之事。何(he)以(yi)(yi)故?緣(yuan)此(ci)罪業,墮地獄中(zhong),常盲(mang)(mang)無(wu)目,受極處(chu)苦(ku);若(ruo)(ruo)作畜生(sheng),亦常生(sheng)盲(mang)(mang);若(ruo)(ruo)生(sheng)餓鬼(gui)中(zhong),亦常生(sheng)盲(mang)(mang)。在三惡苦(ku),久乃得脫。若(ruo)(ruo)生(sheng)為(wei)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),在母(mu)腹中(zhong),受胎便(bian)盲(mang)(mang)。汝于百(bai)歲(sui)常問是(shi)義,我百(bai)歲(sui)以(yi)(yi)無(wu)盡(jin)智(zhi)說是(shi)罪報(bao),亦不可盡(jin)。于四道(dao)中(zhong),生(sheng)而常盲(mang)(mang),我終(zhong)不記(ji)此(ci)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)當有(you)得脫時。所以(yi)(yi)者何(he)?皆由毀出家(jia)故。

或成(cheng)就無邊功德。以破如是(shi)善因(yin)緣故(gu),受無量(liang)罪,由障(zhang)出家(jia)故(gu)。

于此清凈(jing)智慧鏡(jing)中,為于解脫(tuo)諸善(shan)法故。若(ruo)見出家修持凈(jing)戒,趣解脫(tuo)處,破他出家,為作留難。以(yi)是因緣故,生(sheng)便常盲,不見涅槃,由毀出家故。

常觀(guan)癡(chi)等十二(er)因(yin)緣,應得解(jie)脫。以毀(hui)破他智慧眼故(gu)(gu),破出家(jia)緣覆慧眼故(gu)(gu),從生(sheng)至生(sheng),常盲無目,不見三界,緣障出家(jia)故(gu)(gu)。

出家應見(jian)(jian)五陰二十我見(jian)(jian)人,趣正(zheng)(zheng)道。破出家因,壞正(zheng)(zheng)見(jian)(jian)故,所生(sheng)常盲,不見(jian)(jian)正(zheng)(zheng)道。

出家(jia)應(ying)見(jian)(jian)一(yi)切法(fa)聚善(shan)法(fa)住(zhu)處,應(ying)觀諸(zhu)佛清凈法(fa)身。以破出家(jia)善(shan)因緣故,所(suo)生(sheng)常(chang)盲,不能睹(du)見(jian)(jian)佛法(fa)身。

以因出家(jia)應具沙門(men)形貌(mao),及與持戒清凈福田,種佛道因。破出家(jia)故(gu),于善法中(zhong)斷一切望。由是罪(zui)緣,生(sheng)(sheng)生(sheng)(sheng)常盲(mang),由毀出家(jia)故(gu)。

出(chu)家應善(shan)觀察一切身心,皆苦、無(wu)(wu)常(chang)、無(wu)(wu)我、不凈(jing)。破他出(chu)家,為作留難,則破此眼(yan);破此眼(yan)故(gu),不見(jian)(jian)四道(dao)、四念(nian)處(chu)、四正勤(qin)、四如意足、五根、五力、七(qi)覺分、八正道(dao),趣涅槃(pan)城(cheng)。是罪緣故(gu),所生常(chang)盲,乃至不見(jian)(jian)空、無(wu)(wu)相(xiang)、無(wu)(wu)作清凈(jing)善(shan)法,向涅槃(pan)城(cheng)。

是(shi)以智慧(hui)之人知出家者(zhe),應(ying)當成就如是(shi)善法(fa),不應(ying)破(po)壞善法(fa)因緣,獲如是(shi)罪。謂毀破(po)他人如是(shi)出家沙門(men)正見因緣者(zhe),終(zhong)不能得見涅槃城(cheng),所生常盲。

若復(fu)有(you)人(ren)滿百(bai)劫(jie)中,余方出家,修持凈(jing)(jing)戒;若復(fu)有(you)人(ren)于(yu)此(ci)閻浮提,出家持戒,一日(ri)一夜,乃至須臾(yu),清凈(jing)(jing)出家。于(yu)十(shi)六分(fen),彼百(bai)劫(jie)出家持戒,十(shi)六分(fen)中不及其一。

若有(you)顛倒(dao),淫姊妹女;不(bu)應淫處,強生慳嫉(ji),此(ci)(ci)中(zhong)罪報,不(bu)可計限。若有(you)一人能(neng)正思(si)惟有(you)出(chu)家心,欲舍諸惡;若復有(you)人破壞此(ci)(ci)人出(chu)家因緣(yuan),不(bu)令愿滿(man)。是罪因緣(yuan)增長于前,復倍百劫。’

爾時阿難復白佛(fo)言:‘世(shi)(shi)尊!此鞞羅羨那所種善(shan)根,生尊貴(gui)處,當受(shou)福樂,為(wei)過去世(shi)(shi)亦有善(shan)行?為(wei)但齊(qi)今一日一夜出家(jia)功德,受(shou)爾許福?’

佛(fo)告(gao)阿(a)難:‘汝不(bu)應觀過去(qu)因(yin)緣!于此一日一夜清(qing)凈出家(jia)故(gu)(gu),此善根,六(liu)欲(yu)天中,七(qi)反受福,二十劫中常受生(sheng)(sheng)死世間之樂(le)。最后人中,生(sheng)(sheng)福樂(le)家(jia)。壯年已過,諸根熟時,畏于生(sheng)(sheng)、老、病(bing)、死苦(ku)故(gu)(gu),出家(jia)持戒,成辟支佛(fo)。’

佛告阿(a)難:‘我今說喻,汝當(dang)(dang)善(shan)(shan)聽(ting)!譬四天下(xia):東弗婆(po)提、南(nan)閻(yan)浮提、西瞿(ju)耶尼、北郁單越,滿中阿(a)羅漢,若(ruo)(ruo)稻麻叢林。若(ruo)(ruo)有一人(ren),滿百歲中,盡心供養(yang)(yang)此諸(zhu)(zhu)羅漢衣服(fu)飲食、病瘦醫(yi)藥(yao)、房舍(she)臥具,乃至涅槃,后若(ruo)(ruo)起塔(ta)廟,種種珍(zhen)寶、花香、瓔(ying)珞、幡蓋、伎樂、懸諸(zhu)(zhu)寶鈴、掃灑香水、以諸(zhu)(zhu)偈頌(song),贊嘆供養(yang)(yang),所得功德(de)。若(ruo)(ruo)有人(ren)為(wei)涅槃故,出(chu)家(jia)受(shou)戒,乃至一日一夜所作(zuo)(zuo)功德(de),比前功德(de),十六(liu)分(fen)中不及其一。以是因(yin)緣(yuan),善(shan)(shan)男子當(dang)(dang)應出(chu)家(jia),修持(chi)凈戒。諸(zhu)(zhu)善(shan)(shan)男子、諸(zhu)(zhu)須功德(de)者(zhe)、求善(shan)(shan)法者(zhe)、自受(shou)法者(zhe),不應留難出(chu)家(jia)因(yin)緣(yuan),應勤方便勸作(zuo)(zuo)令成。’

時諸大(da)眾(zhong)聞(wen)佛(fo)所說,莫(mo)不厭世,出家持戒,有(you)(you)得須陀洹乃至阿羅(luo)漢者,有(you)(you)種辟支佛(fo)善(shan)根者,有(you)(you)發無上(shang)菩提心者,皆大(da)歡喜(xi),頂戴奉行(xing)。




愿以此功德 莊嚴佛凈土 上報(bao)四重恩(en) 下濟三(san)涂苦(ku)

若(ruo)有見聞者(zhe) 悉發菩提心 盡此一報身(shen) 同生極樂國

愿以此功(gong)德 普及(ji)于一切 我(wo)等與(yu)眾生(sheng) 皆共(gong)成佛道(dao)

愿消三障(zhang)諸(zhu)煩惱(nao) 愿得智慧(hui)真明了

普(pu)愿災障悉(xi)消除 世世常行(xing)菩薩道

愿以此功德

回向往生者○○○罪障消除 永離三(san)涂 往生凈土

回向現世者○○○病(bing)苦消除(chu) 消災免難 身心安康 共證菩提
